Your data, your rights: How we fulfill the EU Data Act

Please note, the information on this webpage and the forms accessible here will be valid and operational as of September 12th, 2025. Requests filed before this date cannot be processed.

With many of our products, such as heat pumps and boilers, already connected, having clear access and control over your data opens valuable opportunities. The EU Data Act supports this by giving you defined rights to access, use, and benefit from the data your devices and our connected services generate.

What is product data, what are connected services and what is connected services data?

Product data is the information your Vaillant appliance generates while it's operating — things like temperature settings or energy usage and that is designed to be retrievable; be it via internet, a remote or a physical connection to your appliance.

Connected services are all digital services, particularly Apps, that are connected with your appliance in a matter that one or more of your appliance’s functions couldn’t be used without it. Connected services data is all data generated from the way you use a connected service.
